Monelle is a small clothing store primarily located in Newport RI and has a location in Nantucket MA. We’re currently searching for a Personal Assistant with in the Fashion field to assist the store owner. The go-getter in this role will be responsible for maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, and tending to any other administrative needs that pop up day to day. Using detailed memos and an impeccable organization system. In addition to being ultra-organized, you'll thrive in this role if you're a top notch communicator. The Personal Assistant facilitates high-energy and brand-appropriate email communication with some of Monelle's / owners most important contacts, executes and small projects!
Start Date is Flexible: FALL 2019 / WINTER 2020 / SPRING 2020 /SUMMER 2020

  • Commit between 10-20 hours a week (flexibility with hours)
  • Background in retail (although not required) is extremely helpful
  • Self-motivated and dependable
  • Must function well independently and as part of a team

Job Description:
  • Assist with not only professional help but domestic, pick and drop offs etc.
  • Complete any additional administrative tasks required of the Manager/ Team
  • Stay up-to-date on company/owners happenings and priorities
  • Maintaining personal and business calendar
  • Work closing with owner and store/ manager/s
  • Tracking all (developing) projects with detailed timelines and notes
  • maintain detailed records
  • Assisting and connecting with all customers/ relationships
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers.
  • Uphold company policies & procedures
  • Product Knowledge ie Designers
  • Possible work in-store here and there as needed.
  • Ability to work a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business/Owner
